ADHD & Neurodivergence
Compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming therapy for ADHD, executive functioning challenges, emotional regulation, Autism Spectrum Disorder and neurodivergent adults and adolescents throughout Minneapolis, St. Louis Park, Edina, Plymouth, and the West Metro.
Therapy that helps you work with your brain—not against it.
Living with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, or navigating the world as a neurodivergent person can feel both exhausting and misunderstood. Many individuals spend years feeling overwhelmed, “too much,” inconsistent, disorganized, emotionally reactive, or frustrated with themselves before realizing their brain simply works differently — not incorrectly.
At Integration Psychotherapy and Wellness, we provide affirming, compassionate therapy for adolescents and adults with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other forms of neurodivergence. Our approach focuses on helping clients better understand themselves, reduce shame and self-criticism, strengthen coping strategies, and build lives that work with their brains rather than against them.
Understanding Neurodivergence
Neurodivergence refers to natural differences in how people think, process information, regulate emotions, focus, learn, and experience the world. ADHD, autism, sensory sensitivities, and other forms of neurodivergence are not character flaws or personal failures — they are differences in brain functioning that deserve understanding and support.
Many neurodivergent individuals grow up feeling misunderstood or repeatedly receiving messages that they are:
Lazy
“Too sensitive”
Disorganized
Unmotivated
Difficult
Forgetful
Inconsistent
“Not living up to potential”
Over time, these experiences can contribute to anxiety, depression, burnout, perfectionism, low self-esteem, and chronic stress.

A Space Where You Don’t Need to Mask
Many neurodivergent individuals spend years feeling pressure to mask, overperform, or hide parts of themselves in order to feel accepted. Therapy offers a space where you can show up authentically without judgment.
At Integration Psychotherapy, we believe neurodivergent individuals deserve care that is compassionate, validating, and genuinely supportive — not focused on “fixing” who they are.
